Day 8 - 30 Paintings in 30 Days

Day 8 - No title yet (Black & White #1)
11" x 11" - Acrylic on paper





Black, White and Grey acrylic paint. Paint applied and marks made with brushes, palette knives, squirt bottle filled with gesso, fingers, graphite, Stabilo Woody crayon, knitting needle, and credit card.

I had intended to add some color but decided I liked it this way, for now.

    Nice piece with drama and sophistication. Love hearing about your mark makers.....knitting needle is a new one, and spray bottle w gesso is great idea.

    Its my mom's knitting needle. She did not paint but my dad did and I am happy I can use some of my dad's brushes and mom's knitting needle. The gesso is in a squirt bottle - think catsup and mustard bottle you find in some restaurants. Thank you for your nice comment. I appreciate it!
