6" x 6" - Acrylic on gallery wrapped canvas
I was given a pigment ink pen by a friend and decided to try it in this painting.
The underpainting was teal and some red. Buff, Off White, Teal, Red, and Black added over the top. Scraping and palette knife used for texture.
I am completely lost in a book. Then something cracks. I look up suddenly and blink to an altered awareness. An open door. The light shining in. Another whole world out there.
